The way heat exchangers work is quickly explained: In these devices, heat is transferred from one medium to another. The two components do not come into direct contact with each other, but are channelled past each other. A simple basic idea - but the heat exchangers involve sophisticated engineering, as the requirements are fundamentally individual depending on the application.<\/p>

In order to meet these complex requirements, Kelvion developed the myAFC product configurator together with adesso - focussed on special finned tube air coolers, so-called Air Fin Coolers (AFC for short).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

AFCs are customised for each customer. With myAFC, the Kelvion experts no longer have to carry out the individual configurations manually. This saves resources and ensures quality.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The configurator is not only intuitive to use - if, for example, dependencies in the configuration change, it can also be adapted without programming knowledge. This increases flexibility and reduces response times.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

When it comes to meeting complex requirements and product customisation, FIRE shows its strengths. With the help of the \"Framework for Intelligent Rule Engineering\", a configurator was developed for the AFC product, the functions of which are constantly being expanded. These include, for example, interfaces to other systems and an optimisation service that determines the most favourable configuration from the input.<\/p>

In addition to the FIRE configurator, the participants also developed a project management system and a front end. The system serves as a framework for configurations. It can be used to manage projects, rights and users and to customise the front end.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
